I am
a Mexican American artist whose work is rooted in the past, present, and future. I draw my inspiration from the colors, textures, and stories I grew up with. My art is a way of telling my story and honoring my heritage while also exploring my own voice.
I often incorporate neon colors inspired by the vibrancy of Mexican culture and the rhythm of my mixed cultural experiences. My process is experimental; I learn by doing, layering, and discovering as I go. What guides me is a desire to connect—whether through a shared sense of nostalgia, a touch of sadness, or an everlasting glimmer of hope.
For me, art is both a practice of remembering and a form of storytelling. Each piece carries fragments of familia, comunidad, y cultura, reimagined in my own way. By creating without strict boundaries, I celebrate the freedom of expression that comes from being self-taught, while embracing the complexity of living between worlds.
